Heavy Equipment Operator

We are now accepting applications for a Heavy Equipment Operator with EXPERIENCE!!

Must be able to work as a team to operate heavy equipment for grading, sitework and land clearing must be able to operate and start a chainsaw or any other hand tools and equipment used for site work, grading, tree removal and all other aspects of Land Development.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment, tools, as instructed to ensure daily schedules/estimates are met. Also, must perform additional team tasks as needed and instructed by foreman.
• Equipment Operator involves making normal adjustments for obtaining proper depths, grades, compaction etc.
• Ability to operate or initiative to learn to operate other equipment required on a grading and site work
• May oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments and maintenance to the equipment
• Ability to help guide and direct dump trucks while on the jobsite.
• Thorough understanding of all aspects of the site work, grading, and land development industry including preparatory work, grades, aggregate size, job specifications, oil consistencies, compaction and other details related to land development.

Qualification/Requirement

• One or Two years related Land Development experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain and dusty environments.
• Be willing to work some overtime when necessary.
• Must have strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Communication skills, ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety and procedures.
• MUST have valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

Pay is based on experience!
